70's TV Questions

Archie is slowly beginning to see the period where race is no more than an category to group people; that the color of your skin does not define the person within. Yet, his children are changing society and they keep telling Archie how he is prejudice in his clips, which is pliantly obvious. Because, as they're growing up in the welcoming time frame, race means nothing to them – due to the African-american guy who sits on the couch while they sing and talk. What is changing with the Jefferson's clip is that all races are happy together, can live together and that happiness is just around the corner.
