I was in 9th grade. It was announced over the intercom at school. It was a shocking announcement. He was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald, they said he was shot 2times, once in the back and then in the head. He shot and killed a cop who stopped him after he fled from the scene. He was suppose to have run into a theater and that’s where they found him and arrested him. He was suppose to have denied being the shooter. Not long after they arrested him they were transporting him to a county jail and some guy named Jack Ruby went up to him (while they escorted him to a vehicle) and shot him in the stomach. They actually took him to the same hospital that Kennedy died in and tried to save him, but he died. I don’t remember what happened to Ruby
Then there were rumors that some government leaders arranged his demise. I don’t believe that.
Kennedy was not a saint either, during his presidency he was having affairs. This is about all I remember. Hope it is enough.
